ཨོྃ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྂ། .

Om Mani Padme Hum

Mantra of the Buddha of Compassion, Chenrezig

Scribed as a garland using Japanese sumi ink in a Umed script style called Tsugtung.

As the embodiment of the Bodhisattva Avolokiteshvara, each syllable is imbued with enlightened qualities and the limitless potential to engender impartial loving-kindness and compassion, protecting the mind from destructive states such as negativity and ordinary, impure perceptions.

So it's said that those who speak, hear, or see this mantra will profoundly benefit from its purifying and blessed qualities.

The Beneficial Blessings of the Six Syllable Mani Mantra

The small line of text at bottom scribed in a Umed script style called tsuk-ma-khyug, meaning "in between style."

By the indispensable union of method and wisdom can we transform our impure body, speech, and mind into the pure body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas.

Ma purifies Jealousy
Ni purifies Desire
Ped purifies Ignorance
Me purifies Poverty
Hum purifies Hatred
